PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA, lately the one thing that is truly constant in our world is change; however, this does not mean successfully proven traditions have to change. As is customary, Daimler Trucks & Buses (DTBSA), Mercedes-Benz Vans and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS) annually takes time to recognize the previous year’s exceptional performance of its dealer network, under the prestigious banner of the Dealer of the Year (DOTY) awards. The year 2020 proved to be no exception, as the Daimler group of Companies seized the opportunity to announce the 2019 DOTY award winners, at the recently virtually held National Dealer Forum for DTBSA.

Leading the pack of winners is NMI Durban South Motors: Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles Durban, which scooped the Daimler Trucks & Buses and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Chairman’s awards, along with the ultimate accolade of the overall Dealer of the Year award. While Ronnies Motors CV East London a division of Kempston Group walked away with the coveted Mercedes-Benz Vans Chairman’s award.

Commenting on the winners is CEO Daimler Trucks & Buses Southern Africa: Michael Dietz, “it is important for us to continue to acknowledge and celebrate our exceptional performers, especially the key role our valued dealer partners play to make DTBSA a success.”

Nadia Trimmel: Vice President Mercedes-Benz Vans Southern Africa adds, “We congratulate all the winners, applaud their unwavering commitment and thank them for flying the Mercedes-Benz Vans flag high.”
